That comic I drew became really popular really fast and I can’t say I’m at all happy about it. A few people have messaged me to correct the mistakes and they were very polite about it but I still feel awful for putting it up. It was never intended to make fun of anyone. I should have known to do more research or to not even put it up at all. I spent all day yesterday and today in a state of anxiety because of this.

Sorry if it seems like I’m overreacting about this, but when I get upset it’s hard to just brush it off. As much as I hate it and try to ignore the fact, I am a very sensitive person. It’s easy to set me off. I have much better control over acting on my emotions than I did when I was younger, but when things build up without any way for me to properly vent then it becomes very difficult for me to handle. I have this mindset in which I try my hardest to please people, and if even one person is slightly miffed then I will completely disregard the people who enjoyed what I did and focus entirely on what I did wrong. I know it’s not healthy, but that’s how I have always been.

I disabled asks and submissions because I would get a panic attack every time I got a message, and they weren’t helping me get past this. I’m honestly very close to just deleting the comic altogether, though that probably won’t do much at this point since it’s already gotten so much circulation.

So, yeah. Sorry about all the fuss.

As a Mormon, I would like to point out that if you would like something to fix about your comic, and that would be the cross on what is supposed to be the Book of Mormon. The cross is a symbol that most churches use often in their art as well as jewelry. But for us, the cross is the symbol of the dying Christ, while our message is a declaration of the Living Christ.

Alright, thank you for the suggestion. I don’t know if I want to go back and fix it; honestly at this point it’s just something I want to forget about. Religion is a touchy subject for a lot of people and I kind of regret even putting it up in the first place.

I’ve had my share of nightmares but the one that stands out the most was where I found my mother’s head in a jar. I was in first grade when I had this dream.

I went to school the next day and suddenly I remembered it and I just started crying on the playground.
